A CAKE SMASH SESSION IS….

probably the most fun I have as a photographer. This session is for your soon-to-be 1 year old in hopes of capturing that sweet, adventurous, curious spirit they are growing into. This session is crazy fun and crazy messy. I love to have a theme and some fun custom-made backdrops specifically geared towards your style and preferences. We will come up with a plan for your session 3-4 weeks ahead so we both have time to gather necessary props/clothing/materials for the shoot. Here are some things to remember when planning your cake smash session:

*book in advance
Book your session early so that you get the date you want. My schedule fills up typically 2-3 months in advance so be mindful of the calendar. Some parents want their cake smash pictures ready for their child’s actual birthday to print out and display, and in that case, the session should be done at least 3 weeks before the event (sometimes more depending on the time of year).

*customize your session
It’s fun to have a session that is completely unique to your child. We will collaborate on a design for your session to make it all your own.
