As a newborn photographer, there are days when things just do not go the way you want them to. I know that’s true about any job, but it is no different being a photographer. Sometimes it’s just hard. But. When it’s good it’s really good. You know what I’m talking about? Everything goes the way I want it to, the baby is content, super chill, doesn’t poop or pee anywhere, doesn’t poop or pee on me, and she let’s me do whatever I want. To the point where I’m forced to stop the shoot. because I need to rush out and get my kids from school. It’s just good. That’s how this session went. Perfectly. I love days like that. I need days like that. To remind me that even though it’s hard work and I’m in yoga positions for 4 hours and my back is killing me, and Whit has been under my desk on the iPad for more time than I’d like to admit, what I do will be cherished for a lifetime. And that’s worth it. I am biased, I know, but I just love these images. They are perfect…like this baby girl and her sweet parents.
